This is a must read article that speaks to plagiarism in college. A New York University professor claims that a substantial number of his students in business school plagiarized their work. They were penalized with some interesting results. The part I find intriguing is that the professor claims he was financially penalized by the school administration because his ratings dropped as a result of the plagiarism crackdown. When asked after it was all said and done if he would do it over again. He clearly wrote that the experience absolutely wasn't worth it. What do you think about the prevalence of plagiarism and cheating that is facilitated by the internet? Should we try to police it?
