Engaging and Motivating Statistics Students: Techniques to Improve Student Learning Engagement (International)

This Guest Lecture focuses on Carlos Cortinhas' practical experience of meeting the challenges of engaging and motivating large internationalised student cohorts. Examples demonstrate how Carlos has used a number of tecnhiques and technologies in the classroom to engage students and improve student learning. Examples include: the use of student response systems (clickers), screencasting and lecture capture.
